The barn is old. In its time it has sheltered many creatures. [Leonardo, carrying a lantern, enters an old, run down barn.] But never one like this! |

His name is Leonardo. [The lantern now on the floor to provide light, Leonardo wipes down the blade on his katana.] The sword...the katana is his chose weapon. |

[Leonardo now sits on the ground, eyes closed.] He knows the blade is only one of many weapons available to him. [Leonardo's brow furrows in concentration.] He is Ninja! |

His greatest weapons are his mind... [Leonardo rises and begins to practice.] and his body. |

He practices hard-- Harder than his brothers. Sometimes even harder than Master Splinter demands. [Leonardo swings from the rafters.] He has his own reasons. |

[Leonardo lands on the ground.] WOOMPH the others think of him as the leader, [He runs and does a flip in the air.] the "big brother," the "serious one." |

Constantly on guard [Leonardo pulls both his swords.] Determined to be ready for anything. |

His responsibilities are great. So great, in fact, [He starts practicing with both swords.] that sometimes he forgets he is a teenager. |

Some voice within drives him on, [Leonardo kicks and breaks an wooden box.] CHOK KRAK CHOK insisting...relentless...faster, Leonardo-- again, Leonardo [He leaps and slices a hanging chain.] CHOK CHANK again, Leonardo |

Until [Leonardo's brothers arrive at the barn.] Raphael "Yo, Leo!" Leonardo "Raph?" Raphael "Some wise guy signed me up for the Barry Manilow Fan Club..." [Leonardo struggles to keep a straight face.] Raphael "You know anything about that?" [Leonardo loses the struggle and starts to grin.] |

[Leonardo sits on the ground laughing.] Ha Ha Ha [Behind him, Michelangelo chuckles and Donatello grins. Raphael stands over Leonardo, thumbs tucked into his belt.] Raphael "Very funny! Grow up, will ya?!" |
