Ambassador Cesse Mon Zir Te is a character appearing in the Mirage mini-series Michelangelo: The Third Kind. He is the alien ambassador for the various alien species who have come to Earth.

History[]

Michelangelo: The Third Kind, part 1[]

The Ambassador’s first appearance is when his picture is shown during a television news talk show. One of the hosts states that there will be a public introduction of the Ambassador in one hour, but they have been told the feds prefer if the public not attend the event. However, they do let it slip that the event will happen on Pier 41. Later, when Michelangelo’s appearance stirs up the crowd, he is escorted onto the platform where the Ambassador and his entourage are waiting. Ambassador Cesse Mon Zir Te tells everyone not to remain calm and one the Utroms says that he knows of Mikey and there is no cause for alarm. However, the crowd has grown restless, and a riot starts. The Ambassador and his entourage are safely escorted away.

Michelangelo: The Third Kind, part 2[]

After various adventures, Michelangelo finally manages to make it back to the lair. He is surprised when, upon entering, he finds that Ambassador Cesse Mon Zir Te is there. The Ambassador and the Utroms with him learned of the location of the lair from Honeycutt. Ambassador says the purpose of the visit is because he wanted to thank Mikey for acting to protect him from the rioting crowd. Ambassador Cesse Mon Zir Te explains that he misjudged the temper of the crowd. Then he tells them that there have been several threats to his life made by two groups in particular – the “Madhattan Maulitia” and “H.A.A.R.M.”. When Leonardo offers their services as protection, the Ambassador declines. He says that if he’s to be accepted in this society, he must be seen cooperating with the human authorities. The Ambassador and Utroms then leave.

Michelangelo: The Third Kind, part 3[]

Ambassador Cesse Mon Zir Te stands side by side with the Mayor during a live news coverage. The Mayor announces that the National Guard have entered the city to protect its bridges and other public utility sites. The Ambassador appears on television again later to explain that the strange energy rings seen in the sky above the city are no cause for alarm, they are merely a meteorological anomaly left over after a scan of the city for weapons of mass destruction.

Michelangelo: The Third Kind, part 4[]

H.A.A.R.M. places bombs all over the city and threatens to blow them up unless Ambassador Cesse Mon Zir Te turns himself over to them. A mob of H.A.A.R.M. members gather in a park near the docks and the Ambassador arrives. However, when H.A.A.R.M.’s leader, Jingo, goes onto the podium to stand next to the Ambassador, the speech he gives is completely unexpected. He calls for his people to stop fearing the unknown, to grow and change.

Suddenly, a man in the crowd shouts “No!”. It is Barry Swan, who pushes his way through the crowd, yelling that Jingo is wrong and that the aliens have turned him. Barry says that the aliens want to turn everyone, to make them into slaves. Jingo tells him that they are already slaves of their own arrogance. Barry yells for him to shut up and then pulls a gun. He takes aim on the Ambassador, who does not move, but before Barry can pull the trigger, a throwing star hits the gun and knocks it from Barry’s hand. Standing ready with another throwing star, Mikey tells Jingo to finish his speech. He does so and shakes hands with the Ambassador. The police arrive at this point, led by Detective Clover, and they take Barry into custody for the murder of his mother.
