The "Cat Owner" is a recurring minor character in the 2012 TV series. He was the first human friend Michelangelo tried to make, but the man got scared and his cat, Mittens, attacked Michelangelo.

- Showdown, Part 2 - He's seen coming out of a Technodrome abduction sphere in the floating in the ocean.
- Plan 10 - One Kraang in Raphael's body manages to scares him.
- Annihilation: Earth! Part 2 - He's seen in the background being pulled into the Heart of Darkness alongside Splinter's lifeless body, the Mighty Mutanimals, the Shredder and Tiger Claw. He is eventually revived when the Turtles and the Fugitoid go back in time to stop the Heart of Darkness from being activated.
