Castle Grayskull is a primary location on the planet Eternia and appears in the Turtles of Grayskull (mini-comics) and Turtles of Grayskull (comics). The castle is a fortress and the home of the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull. Believing that the secrets inside Castle Grayskull will allow them to conquer Eternia and the entire universe, Skeletor, Shredder, Krang and Hordak scheme to find ways past its barriers and guardians.

After a failed attempt to infiltrate Snake Mountain to rescue He-Man, Ram Man and Moss Man, the Ninja Turtles, Man-At-Arms and Teela regroup. They discuss their next course of action and Teela suggests that the only place with answers is the foreboding Castle Grayskull. Belly of the Beast (Man)
While traveling to Castle Grayskull, Sorceress addresses the group of heroes from afar and explains the history of Eternia and the castle. She tells them that the dawn of time and space began with a spark of power; the first power of the universe. Eternia, the first planet, grew around the spark of the universe. The fortress Castle Grayskull was built to protect the spark from chaos and evil. Castle Grayskull is an impenetrable safekeep powerful enough to house infinite mysteries.
