He wears a blue breastplate (reminiscent of the Turtles' plastrons), an olive green jumpsuit with ruffs attached to its shoulders, black gloves with light grey accents, beige wraps around his forearms and calves, and blue knee pads with dark blue faces on them. He also wears a purple pauldron on his right shoulder, a green belt with a pouch attached to the right, an asymmetric tan cape with a high collar and the Genius Built logo placed on its heart, green sneakers, and a white goaltender mask with glowing green eyes, red stripes over its eyes (reminiscent of Leonardo's facial stripes), and a green band.
Personality[]
Casey is polite and kind, referring to Michelangelo and Leo by their full names and titles and saving Splinter from being injured by falling metal beams. He is mature, welcoming to others' input and aware of his limitations and proficiencies alike. He is also level-headed and approaches dangerous situations with care. Casey is unafraid of being quite direct and honest when upset, even towards those he looks up to as seen when he admonishes Leonardo for his heedless behavior.
History[]
Casey debuted in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie. He was born somewhere between 2020 and 2044 during the Krang apocalypse. At some point, he became a member of the resistance against the Krang under the tutelage of the Turtles and allies.
The resistance forces continued dwindling until all that was known to remain was Todd Capybara, Mikey, Leo, and himself. Coming to terms with the resistance's defeat after sustaining a serious injury, Leo sent Casey into the past to prevent the Krang from ever returning. Mikey exerted himself to past his limits to create a time gateway, disintegrating as it opened. Then, Casey was thrown into it by Leo and successfully arrived in present-day New York City with the mission to secure the Mystic Key that would unleash the Krang. Casey quickly felt directionless in the large city and after looking at the photograph he was given, realized that April O'Neil would be the easiest to track down at Eastlaird University before setting off to locate her. While Casey was fortunate enough to find her in front of the building, he was knocked out after startling an already high-strung April. He regained consciousness in the lair, bound to a chair, and was interrogated by the family. His claims were disbelieved until he mentioned the Krang, which shocked Splinter into realizing his statements were in earnest. The Krang are an ancient species that invaded from space and landed in Japan 1,000 years ago, and were sealed away by four Japanese mystic warriors. Splinter had heard the tale of the Krang in his youth and knew of the danger they posed. Casey informed them all they had to do was keep the Mystic Key out of the hands of those who would summon the Krang, telling them that an image of it was drawn on the back of the photograph he carried. The Turtles came to the grave realization that the Mystic Key was the very thing Leo lost to the Foot Clan earlier that day. Splinter and the Mad Dogs, now with Casey among them, soon after left the lair to track down the Foot, but were unsuccessful in keeping the Krang's prison dimension from opening. Krang One emerged from it and trounced the team, including suppressing their mystic powers. He called Krang Two and Krang Three forth, the latter expanding the portal so they can bring forth the Technodrome. With Splinter unconscious and Krang Two overwhelming them, Raphael called for a retreat, and Donatello summoned his Donnie Pods to extract the group to safety. After arriving back at the lair, Casey and the rest of the group realized that Leo returned with with Mystic Key without Raph. April and Splinter resolved to destroy the Mystic Key, while Leo, Mikey, Donnie, and Casey mounted a rescue mission. Tracking Raph to Metro Tower, Leo instructed to sneak inside via the subway system. However, they were quickly spotted by the Krang that had engulfed the tower, and the tunnel collapsed, trapping Casey with Leo. Realizing that Leo was not the "greatest ninja master" that he had idolized, but instead an impulsive teenager, Casey berated him for his inconsiderate behavior towards his teammates. Leo realized Casey was right, and vowed to be better. The two of them then burrowed out of the caved-in section and met up with the rest of the group upstairs, just before finding Raph held in a cocoon above them. Casey cut it down, but learned after he was freed that he had been transformed into a Krang zombie. He found himself quickly surrounded by Krang Two's legion of Krang zombies, but escaped the battle due to Splinter deploying a smoke bomb. Casey watched the invasion begin from a building rooftop. Mikey suggested that they should modify the future in a different manner, but Casey rejected his idea, believing there was no real way to change the future. But Leo stated the future had changed as Raph was never abducted and turned into Krang zombie in Casey's timeline, to which Casey agreed. Casey then worked with April and Splinter on the streets of the New York as the Turtles ventured onto the Technodrome to stall operations there. He was confronted by Krang Two in her newly donned Titan and eventually battled her at a construction site. He collaborated with Splinter to lure Krang Two beneath an unfinished construct while April stuck it with a wrecking ball, collapsing it on top of her. Casey then left April and Splinter to take the Mystic Key from Metro Tower and close the prison dimension portal. However, after reaching the Mystic Key and awaiting Leo's command to close the portal, Casey was ordered to do so while Leo was inside the Krang prison dimension with Krang One. He followed through with a heavy heart, halving the Technodrome in the process, but reunited with the family after Leo was rescued by his brothers. Casey happily ate pizza for the first time with the family after the repairs to New York City were made.
