Casey Jones is a prominent human ally of the Ninja Turtles and the boyfriend (later, fiancé) of April O'Neil.

History[]

As a minor tangent universe offshoot of the 1990 film series, it is likely that this Casey's past is similar, if not identical, to the Casey of that continuity, including the events of the original film and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III.

By the time of TMNT, Casey and April are living together in an apartment. April works now as an archeologist, retained by the wealthy Max Winters to locate and retrieve four mysterious statues which seem to hold special meaning for him. Casey acts as an occasional assistant to April, usually providing physical labor.

In-game, Casey runs a mini-game that players can attend. They are challenged with hitting incoming shuriken with a baseball bat. Completing the mini-games adds Casey's golf bag to the trophy case.

In the game's final scene, Casey proposes to April, a scenario that was plotted for the film but did not make the final cut.

Casey returns in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up, as a playable character. Splinter holds a fighting tournament for his sons, April, and Casey, with the winner able to choose anything they want from his trophy case. They are interrupted, however, by a distress call from The Fugitoid, who has been captured by Shredder. Casey and April accompany the Turtles and Splinter in rescuing him.
