Carlos Chiang O'Brien Gambe is a local New York City reporter and correspondent for Channel 6 news. The character was created specifically for the 2012 TV series.
This version of Gambe is branched off from his original version in the 2012 TV series. His history before the events of Panini comics is the same as that of his animated version.

Sub-Zero Hero[]
Gambe makes his debut in Sub-Zero Hero. He reports on an unusual weather pattern which has brought freezing temperatures and blizzard-like snow conditions to New York City in the middle of July. The Turtles discover that the weather is being controlled by the Kraang and foil their plot to bring the city to its knees. As the weather returns to normal, Carlos Chiang O'Brien Gambe reports from location in Central Park where he says that though meteorologists are puzzled over the weather event, parkgoers are happy with the warm weather.
