Synopsis[]

Open inside Man-At-Arms' workshop in the Palace of Eternos on Planet Eternia, which has been peaceful lately. Duncan explains the machine he is working on to He-Man, Moss Man and Ram Man. Teela and Roboto suddenly come rushing in to inform them that something activated the paradimensional alarm. He-Man asks to be shown the disruption point and Roboto projects a map, saying that it’s coming from the Swamp of Gangoon. Moss Man notes that this does not bode well. He-Man calls for Moss Man and Ram Man to come with him to investigate. As they leave the palace, He-Man says that they will be back before dusk.

However, He-Man and his cohorts to do not return by dusk, nor dawn the next day, nor the next night after that. Teela expresses her concern, so she, Man-At-Arms, and Roboto journey to the swamp to investigate. Though Roboto’s scanners show no sign of their missing comrades, they do pick up strange signals which he guesses might be an unidentified life form. Man-At-Arms discovers a strange purple substance dripping nearby, wondering aloud as to the origin of what appears to be some sort of cross-dimensional mutagen.

Teela suddenly shouts at her father to look out and he moves quickly as the mutated Trap Jaw lunges at him. Roboto says that the being matches the strange signal, but he is not Trap Jaw. He is now Mouse-Jaw, and he is accompanied by a horde of Mousers. The trio of heroes quickly take up a defensive formation and fire their lasers as the Mousers swarm them. Unfortunately, the Mousers are replicating and the heroes start to become overwhelmed. Man-At-Arms asks aloud what these things are – and he receives the answer from a new group of combatants as he is told that they are Mousers.

Michelangelo announces that they are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and are at their service. Donatello calls out that he doesn’t think they’re on Earth anymore. Leonardo shouts at Mikey to get back to the fight because the Mousers are everywhere, but Raphael is happy to have more of them to smash. Mouse-Jaw attacks and Roboto says that scans show his weak points are the same as Trap Jaw’s. This makes it easy for the Eternians to subdue and capture him.

In the meantime, the Turtles have destroyed the attacking horde of Mousers. Don examines one of the robots and says it’s definitely Stockman’s tech. Leo greets the Eternians and Mikey says he could go for a post-fight pizza. Duncan shakes hands with Leo, and says that they are in their debt. Leo introduces himself and his brothers, and Raph tells Mikey that people usually freak out the first time they meet giant talking turtles. Mikey says maybe he’s never seen a turtle. Duncan then asks from what part of Eternia they hail, Leo explains that they’re from New York City. Mikey adds that it’s the home of the best pizza in the world. Duncan finds these words to be foreign and when he says he's never heard of pizza, Mikey freaks, wondering what kind of backwards world they’re on.

Roboto deduces that the Turtles are from the other side of the paradimensional tear. Duncan holds up a sample of the purple mutagen and asks if they are familiar with the substance. Leo says it’s the ooze that mutated them, but Don corrects him to say that it appears to be a different strain. Mutated mutagen he calls it and guesses that it’s what Krang was searching for.

Flashback to the TCRI building. An image of Castle Grayskull is on one of the giant screens and one of the Technodrome is on another. Krang tells Shredder that he’s found the key to unlocking all the power they’ll ever need to not only take over the world, but the entire universe. Shredder wants to know how a castle will defeat the Turtles. Krang says it’s not the castle, but what’s inside – the power at the center of the universe. The Turtles suddenly spring from hiding as Krang is opening a paradimensional tear. There is an unexpected explosion and the next thing the Turtles knew, they were on Eternia and need to find a way back home.

In the present, the group has returned to Duncan’s workshop. The Turtles outfit themselves with armor, and the Eternians upgrade their own to shell armor with Don’s help. Duncan says that if they can recover more of the ooze, he can easily trace it to the Turtles’ dimension. Raph is ready to go stop Krang and get the ooze. Duncan tells him not to be hasty because Mouse-Jaw is proof that Krang has met Skeletor, a powerful sorcerer. Teela wants to know the plan for stopping Skeletor without He-Man and Raph asks who that is. Mikey then announces that he finished the most important part of their plan and brings out some pizza. The Eternians enjoy the new food.

In Snake Mountain, Krang and Shredder meet with Skeletor, who compliments Krang on his plan. Combining the ooze from Dimension X with his mastery of the arcane arts has created the perfect mutagen. Shredder wants to know how well it really works, so Krang calls out for Leatherhead to bring out test subject P-ow3r. Leatherhead appears, dragging out the test subject who is in chains. Krang asks if Skeletor is satisfied. Not only does Skeletor says he is, but it’s the best day of his life. Not so for the test subject P-ow3r, alias He-Man, who has been transformed by the mutagen into a powerful, mindless purple-skinned monstrosity.
