After the invasion ended, he interviewed Baxter Stockman, having been told that Stockman was responsible for saving New York City.
Thompson is covering Baxter Stockman's return to City Hall during the events of The Armageddon Game issue 5 when Ch'rell and the Utroms begin their attack on Mutant Town.
