In the IDW continuity story The Cure for You, part 1, when Jennika was dancing by herself in Kennel Klub, an unnamed mutant bull and his mandrill companion noticed her from the nightclub's bar, and decided to attack her. Angry that they wouldn't leave her alone, Jenny furiously fought and defeated the two men. Jenny was still beating on them when she was stopped by another random mutant who turned out to be her criminal ex-boyfriend Silas.
In The Cure for You, part 2, Sy managed to retrieve the secretly-hidden stolen money from the deadly robbery that he, Ivan and Jenny had committed a decade before, which they had hidden in the rooftop air vent of Barry and Billy's gun store. Barry and Billy furiously ran after Sy with assault rifles, but when the the shopkeepers started threatening random pedestrians, Jenny had to subdue them. As soon as the fight was over, the now mutant Ivan showed up and introduced his two "chemists"—the same mandrill and bull Jenny had fought in the nightclub, still bandaged from their injuries.
