Brazil (Portuguese: Brasil, pronounced /brəˈzɪl/ in English) is a federal republic in South America. Several stories of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Mighty Mutanimals comics are set there, especially in the Amazon rainforest.

Xever backstory

Xever walking streets in Brazil.

In the 2012 TV series, the character Xever Montes (Fishface) is Brazilian, and during his backstory flashback in the Baxter's Gambit, a young Xever is seen walking across the crowded streets of a town in Brazil, which in Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles magazine (published by Panini Comics) is revealed to be São Paulo, the biggest city in South America.

2016 film[]

In the 2016 film Out of the Shadows there are scenes taking place at the Iguazú Falls. There the turtles jump from an airplane moving from the USA to Brazil onto another airplane moving in the opposite direction and fight against Bebop and Rocksteady to retrieve the last piece of the trans-dimensional portal device.

IDW Comics[]

In the IDW continuity comic Bebop & Rocksteady Destroy Everything, there are scenes taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil's biggest coastal city.
