No no no! I never said it wasn't an amazing finale! I loved it! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! It was intense! It was metal, if you pardon my phrasing! All I was trying to say is that there were a lot of shocking developments in there that I may or may not have been ready to handle ^0^ *is fanning self* So much to absorb so much to absorb...
I put the season finale in my top 5 favorite episodes of any show ever.
5. A Beautiful Boy?! The Secret of Haruka Tenou (Sailor Moon. Japanese version and the new Viz dub)
4. Venom of the Red Lotus (Legend of Korra)
3. The Invasion (TMNT)
2. Terrifying Illusion! Ami All Alone (Sailor Moon. Japanese version and new Viz dub)
1. Twilight's Kingdom (MLP:FiM)
*Spoilers*
And when I say "so much to absorb" I'm not only referring to the relationship-developments. I mean, all the fight-scenes in there were awesome! I did not know that Leo's swords could do that whole knife-compartment thing.
Kirby mutated again (*inward groan*)
New York has been terraformed
We now know Karai is in close proximity to Splinter (I'm seriously hoping we get to finally see some real father-daughter time in season 3)
I know there was a farmhouse in some earlier incarnation of TMNT...I'm willing to bet this is where the turtles are heading for season 3, since the Lair was completely DEMOLISHED.
Our favorite beetle-parrot-voiced comedian made his debut. As a tentacle brain with an eyepatch disguised as a human girl.
So if you think that the ships are all I care about, you are sorely mistaken, sir. ^^ On the contrary, I quite enjoy watching green mutants use sharp implements to battle other mutants, regardless of whether or not there is relationship-drama.
The ships are just a nice little obsession/distraction for me to have fun with along the way. XD

I can honestly say that I didn't notice that until you said something. Leo hides a tanto in the hilt of his katana. That is awesome! I always knew that he hides one in his wrist wraps because we saw that in season one when the Turtles were devising a plan to break into TCRI and Leo tucked one into his wrist wrap, but I did not know about his katana.
Leo just gets more awesome all the time! :D
Sorry, just having a moment here. It's still cool, though.
By the way, the farmhouse you were talking about was featured in both the first movie and the 2003 series after Leo had been ambushed by the Foot, as he was in this episode as well. In the movie, it was Raph who was thrown into April's apartment. However, in the 2003 series Leo was thrown through the window into April's apartment in the same fashion as he was in this new episode of the new series. The episode was called "The Shredder Strikes Back" and consisted of two parts. Leo's ambush was in part one. That is one of my favorite episodes from that series despite what happens to Leo. It was very emotional.
