This isn't the Raph I got to know. This is some manchild 1987 fanboy's Raph. (I can barely stand the 1987 TV series as it is.) Raph once made it clear that, in spite of trying to remain more loyal to his brothers, Slash was ''still'' the one thing he cherished most. [[The Invasion, Part 2]] was a fantastic lead-up to what ''could'' have been had they reunited. And then, plot crickets. Whatever ''this'' universe now is, it's a different one than we saw before, and this discontinuity royally sucks.

This isn't the Raph I got to know. This is some manchild 1987 fanboy's Raph. (I can barely stand the 1987 TV series as it is.) Raph once made it clear that, in spite of trying to remain more loyal to his brothers, Slash was still the one thing he cherished most. The Invasion, Part 2 was a fantastic lead-up to what could have been had they reunited. And then, plot crickets. Whatever this universe now is, it's a different one than we saw before, and this discontinuity royally sucks. This isn't plot—it's ascended bad fanfiction.
