Bishop Robotics is a location in New York City that appears in the 2024 Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series. It is a large building used as a factory for the construction of Mechazoids by Josefina Bishop.
History[]
Prior to Superfly's rampage across the city, Bishop welcomed millionaire Roderick Underwood, Sr. and his son to her Bishop Robotics factory. There she made a presentation outlining her plans for the development of Mechazoids, robots meant to assist humans. Underwood agreed to fund her operation as long as she employed his son. She agreed and began building her first full sized robot dubbed Mechazoid Alpha. Unfortunately, Bishop Robotics was partially destroyed when Superfly, now in his doubly mutated form, stomped through the building. The mutant also destroyed Mechazoid Alpha, causing Bishop's focus and goals to change. Rather than building Mechazoids to aid humans, she decided to built them to rid the world of mutants.
Underwood's funding allowed her to continue manufacturing Mechazoids. Besides a huge factory area inside Bishop Robotics, there is also a secure computer control room. There Bishop's banks of monitors feed images to her from the various Mechazoids, allowing her to keep track of what they are doing as well as communicate with them.
During the events of "Night of the Mechazoids", it is shown that, though the factory has not been completely rebuilt, it is fully functional. Inside the building is where Bishop, inside her XS-1 exo-suit, fights the Turtles. She also activates numerous newly built Mechazoids to join the attack.
