The Big Foot or Sasquatch is a large, fur-covered beast that appears in the film TMNT.
History[]
Like the rest of the Thirteen Monsters, Bigfoot escaped from a portal in South America 3000 years ago, and has been terrorizing humanity ever since. This monster inhabits Canada and the US Pacific Northwest, where many legends about the creature have developed.
The Turtles encounter it as Karai and her Foot Ninja are attempting to capture it for Max Winters. The monster was too strong for both groups, forcing the Foot to flee. The Stone Generals arrives and captured it. It was then brought back to Max Winters' tower and chained to a platform, to which it is then locked in a cage. Michelangelo was startled by it after he thought its cage was Leonardo's. After the final battle against the Stone Generals, Bigfoot was sent back to his home world.

- Like the rest of the Thirteen Monsters, the Bigfoot is based on a real-world legend, though in the story it is the basis of those legends.
- While several Bigfoot or Sasquatch have appeared in TMNT fiction, it is likely these are not intended to be the same character, but rather different interpretations of the Bigfoot legend.
- In the video game it was called the yeti monster.
