Synopsis[]
Man-At-Arms tells the Turtles about the legend of He-Man. Mikey is impressed, but Raphael can only think about how they're not out there stopping Krang. Donatello protests that he's hard at work on a cybernetic lifeform and Leonardo tells Raph to let Donnie concentrate. While Raph and Leo argue, a mysterious figure shows up, and Teela takes him down - it's the villainous Beast Man! Man-At-Arms orders him thrown into a cell, and when he's securely locked up, begins to interrogate him.
Beast Man says that Skeletor summoned an emerging power to Eternia, which turned out to be a bridge to another universe. This dropped Krang and Shredder in the middle of the Swamp of Gangoon. Skeletor struck up a partnership with Shredder and Krang to utilize mutagen to conquer first Eternia, then Shredder and Krang's world. Beast Man tells them that he witnessed Ram Man, Moss Man, and even He-Man himself captured and subjugated to the mutagen. Beast Man decided to high-tail it out before he was next, then came to the Palace of Eternos to seek help.
Teela, Beast Man, Mike, Leo, and Raph go to infiltrate Snake Mountain while Man-At-Arms and Don continue to work on their project. Upon entering the arena at Skeletor's lair, it's revealed that Beast Man's pleas for assistance were a ploy, and he sics mutated versions of He-Man, Moss Man, Ram Man, Mer-Man, and Faker (as "Sla'ker") on them. They fight the mutants, but are unable to phase them with their weapons. Just then, Man-At-Arms and Don fly by in a Talon Fighter and Metal-Boto hops out to direct them to escape on the vehicle, while he fends off the villains.
Having made their escape, the heroes wonder how they can turn the tide. Teela suggests that the only place with answers is the foreboding Castle Grayskull.
