In the 2003 TV series episode Space Invaders, Part II, the Triceratons demonstrate their power by using their anti-gravity generator to raise the city (and some of the ground it's standing on) into the Earth's stratosphere and towards outer space, while trapping the city within a forcefield.
Months later, in Mission of Gravity, the Turtles fix Beijing back to the Earth's surface.
