Voice-over introduction

Foot Mystics: "It is written in the skies! The five shall undo the chains of time and free the dark one. We are the five. And we shall free the master! We shall raise him from his captivity. That he may unleash chaos unto the world. And now is the time! The end has come. And... it begins... tonight."

Plot Synopsis

Returning to the Tribunal Monastery with the second Shredder Artifact. As they enter, Kon tells Chikara that he has had a vision about the Shredder's heralds coming to the monastery. To prepare for their arrival, Kon orders Hisomi to take the acolytes to the Shredder's sarcophagus. Chikara doesn't believe for it to be a good idea, but Kon talks her down. As Hisomi leads the acolytes, Splinter and Ancient One to the sarcophagus, other Tribunal members prepare for the Heralds assault with Chikara still doubting Kon's decision. But then Chikara witnesses a terrible deception: she witnesses the real Kon and Juto hanging in a wall with real Splinter and Ancient One chained on the floor! The impostors then reveal themselves as the Fire Mystic and Wind Mystic and incapacitate Chikara.

Unaware that the "Splinter" and "Ancient One" with them are impostors, Hisomi and acolytes reach the Shredder's sarcophagus. The impostors then reveal themselves as the Earth Mystic and Water Mystic, with the Metal Mystic joining them. As the Fire Mystic and Wind Mystic join their brothers at the Sarcophagus, Splinter manages to free himself and others.

Acolytes and Hisomi engage the Heralds in an epic battle, in which Hisomi is seemingly killed. To combat the acolytes, the Heralds summon two demons, Sojo and Bakku. They defeat Faraji and he seemingly dies, but not before handing Gunjin to Leo. Leo uses it to defeat Bakku, just as it is about crush Raph and Donny. Sojo then grabs Joy, and she is seemingly crushed, In a rage, Raph uses Banrai to bring down several stones on Sojo and defeats it. The remaining acolytes are able to beat the Heralds and reclaim all Shredder artifacts. As the Tribunal, Splinter and Ancient One arrives to assist, the Heralds come back. Tribunal orders the acolytes to take the artifacts and run while they handle the Heralds. They cause a massive explosion, and they are not seen afterwards.

As the acolytes, Splinter and Ancient One return to the monastery, the Heralds are waiting for them! They declare that the Ninja Tribunal is no more. The Heralds engage the acolytes, and in the struggle Adam is crushed by a rock and Metal Mystic kills Tora. With the three artifacts in their possession, the Heralds summon a large portal, that destroys the monastery. The Heralds thank the Turtles and flee through the portal and it begins to close. Anguished, Leo uses Gunjin to keep the portal open in order to allow everyone to escape through it, and swearing that he will not let it all be for nothing. Turtles, Splinter and Ancient One jump through the portal just in time.

The portal takes them back to New York. Everyone are wondering, why the Heralds would come to New York of all places. Splinter says that he doesn't know, but he knows that end of the world begins here. A storm is brewing, and the storm clouds form a silhouette of the Shredder...

  • Leonardo: No, it can't all have been for nothing! I won't let it be. I will never stop fighting!
