"It's turtle bashing time! We've gonna stomp you whimps!"

B and r cutscene

Bebop and Rocksteady are a recurring duo in video games loosely based on or inspired by the 1987 animated series. They are not paired together as often as other incarnations of the two, but this is normally due to technical limitations.

Although they are not fought together, Bebop and Rocksteady are seen together in the sewers early in stage 1 of the original NES/computer game. Bebop fights the player, while Rocksteady guards April high on a ledge near a door. The player's Turtle, however, is damaged if they touch Rocksteady, and he also cannot be damaged during this time. After Bebop is defeated, Rocksteady grabs April and hauls her through the door.

In the arcade version of the 1989 arcade game and its direct emulations, the Turtles face Rocksteady and Bebop together at the end of Vinnie's Valet Parking Garage. While they retain all the attacks and strength that they did in their individual fights, they can also be duped into ramming into each other, which damages and stuns them. In the NES version of this game, the fight is replaced by one against Baxter Stockman's mutant fly form.

Bebop and Rocksteady return as a dual boss fight exclusively in the Super NES version of Turtles in Time. They replace the Tokka and Rahzar battle on the pirate ship from the arcade version, and show up wearing pirate outfits. They enter the scene sliding on a banister, and wield new weapons this time; a whip for Bebop, and an épée for Rocksteady. Like the previous arcade game's battle, they can be tricked into colliding each other, and also can accidentally hit one another with their weapons. After both of them lose all of their health, they center themselves on the screen while attacking each other, before being defeated.

Bebop and Rocksteady can also be seen together on the Mount Olympus stage of the Super NES version of Tournament Fighters, cheering on the fighters along with some Foot Soldiers. Their skin palettes are notably strange here, as Bebop appears much pinker than he ever has, and Rocksteady is a shade of green.

Bebop and Rocksteady appear throughout Shredder's Revenge. They are fought together in Episode 3: "Mutants over Broadway" inside the Turtle Tenderizer. They later appear as a dual boss in Episode 7: "Roof Running Reptiles!".
