Bebop is a recurring villain appearing in the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles (comic strip). His character is closely based on his 1987 TV series counterpart.
History[]
When Shredder decides he needs to spy on his enemies, he has Bebop and Rocksteady install a spy camera in the sewers. They install it upside down, much to Shredder's annoyance. The camera does show him that the Turtles are working out, so he decides his minions need to do the same. Bebop and Rocksteady are not happy about that, or the new diet plan and try to run away, but Shredder catches them in a net. Later, the pair of mutants open a sewer grate to flood the tunnels and allow Supercod to get to the Turtles. While the Turtles are dealing with the giant fish, Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady kidnap Splinter. Bebop and Rocksteady spring a trap on the Turtles at a warehouse while they are there searching for Splinter. April O'Neil sprays the bad guys with fire foam, allowing the Turtles to free Splinter and escape. Later, Bebop and Rocksteady join the plan to steal gold from the First National Bank. When the Turtles once more interfere, an angry Krang sends Shredder to Dimension X. Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles Introduction
Krang becomes frustrated with Shredder's constant failure to defeat the Turtles. Feeling that the Turtles' biggest weakness is their curiosity, he designs a robot cow he calls "Mad Cow Denise", and he packs her into a coffin. Bebop and Rocksteady take a microplane and drop the coffin into a river in front of the Turtles. Mad Cow Denise
