Bebop was a human member of a gang of thugs who was mutated into a warthog man by Shredder.
History[]
Bebop was a member of a gang that had accosted Channel 6 reporter Abril O'Neil. They chased her into the sewer, where she was rescued by the Tortugas Ninja. Bebop was taken out by Miguel Ángel.
While the Tortugas and their Master Splinter tended to Abril, Shredder took volunteers for a way to increase their power. Rocoso and Bebop offer themselves. And are shocked to see two robotic unicycles dragging in a warthog and rhinoceros.... El origen de las Tortugas Ninja
By the time Bebop and Rocoso are shown again, they have already been mutated, off-panel. Shredder's alien benefactor, Krang, discovered the location of the Convertigema, a magical orb from Dimension Zo. Shredder sends Bebop and Rocoso to retrieve it, and Bebop bashes the owner of the orb, a fortuneteller named Marla, over the head with a club and takes it.
Walking down the street, the duo come across Splinter. Before he can react, Rocoso uses the Convertigema to turn Splinter into a packet of french fries. The Tortugas then arrive and attempt vengeance, but Leonardo and Rafael are hit with the orb's power as well and turned into a hamburger and soda, respectively. Miguel Ángel and Donatelo fight the goons and eventually get the Convertigema from them, and Miguel Ángel turns his brothers and sensei back to normal. Leonardo and Rafael go to rush the thugs, but suddenly Miguel Ángel, Donatelo, Bebop, and Rocoso are teleported away.
Landing in Dimension Zo, Bebop retrieves the Convertigema and brags about it. Again, Miguel Ángel and Donatelo fight for the orb, and Miguel Ángel beats Bebop while Donatelo takes care of Rocoso. The two goons flee in fear without the orb.
After the Tortugas meet the rightful owner of the Convertigema, Aprax, and are transported back home by him, the goons are stuck in Dimension Zo and remain to be chased by the beast guardian Morris. La Esfera Magica de Aprax
