The Beast is a mutant creature of unknown origin appearing in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Black, White & Green anthology series.
History[]
The Turtles pursue a mutant beast through the sewers. Having lost sight of it, they follow a trail of blood the beast leaves behind. Donatello determines that the beast's blood contains an active mutagenic agent, causing the brothers to become concerned that anything coming into contact with the blood will be mutated. Their search ends when the beast charges at them, but after bowling them over, continues through the tunnels. The Turtles chase it, going up a tall ladder into a room where they see a sign indicating they are in Stockman Labs. All around them are cages containing other animals, reptiles, birds and insects. The beast is also there, waiting for them. Leonardo attempts to offer the beast their help, but it says that it pities them. It has a purpose, one given to it by Shredder and Stockman. That purpose, it turns out, was to lead the Turtles to the lab so that it could self-destruct. When the beast activates the bomb attached to its chest, the Turtles leap down the ladder shaft, barely avoiding the explosion.
