Some TMNT stuff really isn't for little kids. |
In his early years, Baxter Stockman obtained several degrees in the electronic and engineering fields, but he was particularly interested in microelectronics and robotics. However, his achievements in these areas didn't get recognized as he wished. His character is based on the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics by Mirage Studios. Stockman is the main antagonist of the crossover between the TMNT and the Stranger Things comic series.

The Tourists[]
While visiting New York City, the kids from Hawkins investigate an all too familiar sound coming from a subway tunnel. There they encounter several part-demodog, part-mouser creatures, but before the hybrids can attack, the Turtles arrive and destroy them. After returning to the Turtles' lair and sharing information, the group determines that Baxter Stockman is behind the demomousers, as Dustin dubs them. However, Stockman is supposed to be in prison, so Eleven uses her gift of psychic projection to learn that not only is he free, but his exact location. She also tells the others that Stockman knows her and wants her to find him. The two groups split up, with Eleven going with Raphael's group to confront Stockman. When they reach the address Stockman gave her, they find not only the scientist, but also armed men.
Captive[]
Stockman takes Raphael, Donatello, Eleven, Dustin, and Max prisoner. While the others languish in holding cells, Stockman hooks Eleven up to machinery that makes her believe she is home with James Hopper, though that is Stockman projecting the trusted image onto himself. He tricks Eleven into using her powers and she begins to open a gate to The Upside Down. Having escaped the cells, Raph enters the illusion and forces Stockman to reveal himself and his true intent.
