Some TMNT stuff was always meant for grownups. |
Baxter Stockman was an evil genius roboticist who worked for Oroku Hiroto and was the personal nemesis of Zayton Honeycutt.
History[]
Following Honeycutt's merging with his SAL unit and becoming the "Fugitoid", he was sought after by Stockman the dissect the technology that caused this accident. Honeycutt was rescued by the Turtles and thereafter Stockman continued to pursue Honeycutt for his plans. Playing God
Years later Stockman worked as the Foot Clan's technologist. He was awarded Roosevelt Island in its entirety to use as his base and lab.
While Donatello and Splinter went to Japan in an effort to broker peace with Hiroto, Stockman made a move to extract Honeycutt. The anti-Foot Clan rebel faction, Rock Bottom, was swarmed by Foot Ninja, Foot Bots, and Mousers, overwhelming them. After a couple of failed attempts to secure Honeycutt, he tells Stockman he'd rather self-destruct than be taken again or risk his friends. Stockman says that if he can't have him, then nobody will, and detonates all of the Mousers present, destroying 2nd Time Around and badly damaging Honeycutt, as well as killing several Rock Bottom members including Casey and Leonardo. Both Michelangelo and April were gravely injured as well, with each thinking the other had also died in the explosion. Fight or Flight
Years later, April and Michelangelo met up again when the latter returned to New York City in an effort to kill Hiroto for his transgressions. With the rest of Rock Bottom, they attacked Stockman's Roosevelt Island base, bringing Honeycutt's severed head with them. They infiltrated the base and April installed Honeycutt's head into his systems in an effort to shut them down, but the now-cybernetic Stockman arrived to stop them and take Honeycutt's head for himself. April hit him in vengeance for Casey's death, but provided only momentary distraction, as Stockman then knocked her to the floor. As Stockman held Honeycutt's head, the Fugitoid electrocuted him to death, then dispensed into a cloud of nanobots, taking over Stockman's systems. Blood in Snow.
