The Battle Shell is an armored car souped up by Donatello which was created by remodeling the van the Turtles originally confiscated from the Purple Dragons and serves as the primary source of transportation of the Turtles in the 2003-2009 TV series until its destruction in the fourth season by the Foot Clan. In Return to New York, Part 1, it serves as a decoy and was destroyed by the Foot Clan.

It was also used in the 2003 video game. The Battle Shell is the counterpart to the Turtle Van from the 1987 series.
