Barbara Gordon is the daughter of James Gordon, and fights crime as the superhero Batgirl.
In the miniseries Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II, she assisted Lucius Fox in constructing a trans-dimensional portal so that Batman can pursue Bane into the Turtles' world. In his absence, Batman left Gotham in Batgirl's care.
After Splinter was badly wounded by Bane, Batgirl communicated with April O'Neil about bringing Raphael, Splinter and Robin back into her home dimension. She and Nightwing accompanied them to the Lazarus Pit in order to restore Splinter to health, and afterwards she traveled to the Turtles' dimension in order to help Batman defeat Bane. She fought alongside Karai in the final battle, and returned to her home dimension after Bane's defeat.
