Synopsis[]
On Burnow Island, the Technodrome is approaching full functionality. As Krang watches the triggering sequence, Professor Honeycutt desperately tries to appeal to Baxter Stockman on behalf of the Earth's billions of inhabitants. The Technodrome blasts a stream of energy to the ground, much to Krang's delight.
At the Foot Clan headquarters, Donatello speaks to Shredder through the Metalhead robot. Shredder finds it difficult to believe that Donatello would betray his family by offering an alliance to their sworn enemy, but Donatello declares that this is not betrayal, but saving the world. He says that his father would understand his decision if he weren't blinded by their vendetta, and that he's sure the two of them will renew their feud if they can stop Krang first. Furthermore, he needs Shredder's army, and he can provide transportation to Burnow Island, undetected. With that, he switches to "car mode" and leaves.
Back in Harold Lillja's lab, Donatello is called back by his irascible friend, who wants to run the final tests on the teleporter. Donatello seems distracted, but goes to test it.
Elsewhere, the Mutanimals and the other three Turtles are learning to work together in combat, moving in squads and making their way through ambushes of shuriken and machine guns. They successfully bash through the last wall, and are congratulated by Splinter and Hob. Leonardo asks to speak to Splinter privately.
At the antique store, Casey and April discuss how her parents have welcomed Casey with open arms, and the feelings of guilt they have over not being able to help their friends and the O'Neils more. April also confirms that she's seen Professor Miller on campus again lately. As April leaves for study group, Casey suits up for "site security."
Donatello prepares to do his final test run on the teleported, but is a little nervous about the time that Harold accidentally sent them to the Ghostbusters dimension. He vanishes into the teleporter, and comes back a minute later with a tiny model of the Eiffel Tower. Harold pretends not to be enthusiastic, but secretly grins.
Shredder prepares Hun, Rocksteady, Bebop, Koya and Bludgeon for the upcoming mission to Burnow Island, saying that Hun will assist Karai and Bebop and Rocksteady will have a "special mission." Karai privately questions the wisdom of trusting Donatello, but Shredder is confident that he's the one manipulating Donatello and not vice versa.
As Stockman and the Fugitoid discuss the only chance of saving the Earth, Krang roams across a terraformed landscape that looks just like Utrominon. Delighted, he declares that they will go live the next day.
