[Opening sequence and theme song.]
[Open on New York City at night. April O’Neil and the Turtles are peering through the window of a jewelry shop. Sirens can be heard in the distance. Across the entrance to the shop is police crime scene tape.]
April O'Neil "This jewelry store is where the Mole Squad pulled their most recent heist."
Leonardo "Now I see why they call themselves the Mole Squad."
[There is a large hole in the center of the floor inside the jewelry shop.]
April "They've been digging their way into banks and stores throughout the city."
Donatello "Maybe we can lead you to them."
[The group jog over to where the Channel 6 newsvan is parked.]
April "And right to a Channel 6 exclusive."
[Cut to an underground location. The Mole Squad meets with a scientist.]
Mole Squad Leader "Okay, doc, we've given you all the gear you need. Now where's our goodies?"
Floyd O'Toole "But…but, the Sonic Pulverizer isn't ready."
[Standing inside a nearby tunnel, April and the Turtles observe the scene.]
April "That's Dr. Floyd O'Toole, the scientist. Well, he's been missing for weeks."
[Mole Squad Leader laughs and picks up the pulverizer.]
Mole Squad Leader "With this gizmo, we'll be able to dig through anything."
Leonardo "I hope you dig splitting headaches."
[He leaps and kicks the leader down. The other Turtles prepare to join the fight while April films with her mini-camera.]
Raphael "All right, you moles, we’re gonna bury you."
Mole Squad Member "Us moles can burrow right through your crummy shells."
[He takes several swings at Raphael, but misses. Raphael kicks him away. Two Mole Squad men grab Michelangelo and throw him.]
Michelangelo "Whoa!"
[While wrestling with Mole Squad Leader, Leonardo manages to kick the pulverizer out of his hands. Mole Squad Leader then punches Leonardo, knocking him back and retrieves the pulverizer. Leonardo draws a katana and runs at him, but the Mole Squad Leader fires the weapon and destroys half of Leonardo’s sword. Using his bō, Donatello hops over the two men rushing him and they run into each other. The other Turtles continue battling the Mole Squad while Leonardo dives aside to avoid a blast from the pulverizer.]
O’Toole "[Gasps] My Sonic Pulverizer. I never intended for it to hurt anyone."
[Mole Squad Leader rushes over to his fallen men.]
Mole Squad Leader "To the mole hole. Hurry!"
[He blasts the wall above Raphael and Michelangelo, sending debris flying. Then he blasts another wall so he and his Squad can escape through a tunnel.]
Donatello "Come on. We can follow them."
[The Turtles enter the tunnel, with April following behind. Up ahead, Mole Squad Leader turns and fires at the tunnel ceiling, causing a collapse. The Turtles and April back out of the tunnel.]
Raphael "Uh, anybody got a shovel?"
[They rejoin Dr. O’Toole, who is standing at a desk.]
April "I got it all on tape, guys."
[She sets a cassette on the desk.]
O’Toole "Oh, this is horrible. Horrible!"
Raphael "Oh, I don't know. A few curtains, a little wallpaper-- Could be really cozy."
O’Toole "No. I mean my Sonic Pulverizer. Every time I turn around, some criminal is trying to use one of my inventions as a weapon. Well, this is the last straw.
I'm giving up science. I'll gather up all my notes and plans and destroy them. I'll become a claims adjuster. No, an insurance salesman. That's it! Take these until I can gather up the rest of notes from my lab. Guard them with your lives. Especially this videocassette. It's the only record of the plans for my Hover Thruster. My greatest invention yet. Promise me you'll guard it until I can get back to you."
[He begins gathering up his papers.]

Leonardo "Well, we better get this stuff back to the lair."
April "And I'd better get back to Channel 6. I've got a story to get on the air."
Donatello "Uh, April, don't forget your tape."
April "Thanks, guys. Catch you on the news."
[The Turtles have returned to their lair.]
Leonardo "Can you imagine wanting to destroy all this scientific knowledge?"
Raphael "Yeah, that Dr. O'Toole sure pulled a sudden career switch, huh?"
Michelangelo "Mondo midlife crisis, dude."
Splinter "Still, it is his decision. We must respect his wishes and guard these papers."
Leonardo "And this videotape."
Donatello "I don't understand why he's so upset, Sensei. After all, not all inventions are dangerous."
Raphael "Yours are. They always blow up."
Donatello "Well, that's not what I meant. Take my new Trans-Dimensional Communicator for example."
Leonardo "Trans-Dimensional Communicator?"
Donatello "Yeah, I invented it so we could stay in touch with the Neutrinos."
Michelangelo "Whoa. We haven't heard from those space dudes in ages."
Donatello "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's give them a shout on the Trans-Dimensional horn."
[In the workshop, the Turtles reach out to the Neutrinos.]
Kala "It's sure good to hear from you crazy reptiles."
Zak "But right now, we gotta zap. We've got some Rock Soldiers on our tails."
Kala "We'll catch you later alligators."
Zak "Come on, Neutrinos. Let's burn ions."
Kala "Rev it up, cats. The squares are gaining on us."
Zak "Stay cool. We'll duck in behind that big space rock."
[From behind the space rock comes another squadron of Rock Soldiers.]
Zak "Uh-oh. General Traag."
Traag "At last. Neutrinos. [Laughs] The fun's over."
[Cut to the Channel 6 building. Vernon walks over to April’s desk.]
Vernon Fenwick "Uh-huh, she's gone. Now I can find out about this mysterious story she's been working on. April's minicam. This must be it.
Whatever it is. What if I just scooped her on it. Oh, that would be low. Awful. Horrible. I'll do it."
[He takes out the cassette.]

[He walks into the station’s control room and hands the cassette over to an engineer.]
Vernon "Cue this up. I'm going on the air with it."
[On televisions, the words “Special Bulletin” appear.]
Announcer "We interrupt this program for a special news bulletin."
Vernon "This is Vernon Fenwick with an exclusive story which reveals the shocking truth about, uh-- You just have to see for yourself."
[The cassette shows Dr. O’Toole at a chalkboard drawing the design for his invention.]
O’Toole "This is the schematic for my Hover Thruster engine. The key to this design is a highly resilient housing with a modified cross-strut design."
Vernon "What in the world is that?"
[Shift to the Technodrome, sitting beneath the ocean.]
Krang "It looks like the design for a highly compact, super-powerful jet thruster."
O’Toole "This gives the engine a stress vector quotient of ninety-two."
[The screen cuts back to Vernon.]
Vernon "Uh, sorry, wrong tape. We'll have that story later."
Krang "Blast! If I'm right, that engine is powerful enough to lift the entire Technodrome."
Shredder "We’d be invincible once more."
Krang "You must go to Channel 6 and get that tape."
Shredder "Hold it! If we attack Channel 6 we'll have those miserable Turtles all over us."
[A communication comes through from Dimension X.]
Traag "Lord Krang."
Krang "Yes? Oh, Traag. Make it quick."
Traag "Good news, sire. We've finally captured the Neutrinos."
Krang "Shredder, that's it. Standby, Traag. I want those brats.
Activate the Trans-Dimensional Portal."
[He gives orders to Bebop.]
Activate the Trans-Dimensional Portal."
[Traag steps through leading the three Neutrinos, bound by an energy beam.]
Traag "Your prisoners, Lord Krang."
[He is followed by other Rock Soldiers dragging the Neutrinos Starcruisers behind them.]
Shredder "But how are these three going to help us? They're friends of those wretched reptiles."
Zak "Yeah. We'll never help you dirtbags."
Kala "And we'd never hurt the Turtles."
Krang "By the time I'm through with you, you'll want to tear them apart."
