Asia is a continent on the planet Earth. It is bounded on the north by the Arctic Ocean, on the south by the Indian Ocean, and on the east by the Pacific Ocean. Its main regions include North Asia, Central Asia, West Asia, South Asia, East Asia, and Southeast Asia. Asia is subdivided into 49 countries, five of them (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Turkey) are transcontinental countries lying partly in Europe.
In TMNT[]
Asia is integral to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise by virtue of its premise being drawn from an Asian culture, with Japan naturally receiving primary focus throughout various iterations. Asia beyond Japan is not regularly explored by the characters of TMNT, but it is not uncommon for other Asian countries to be mentioned or referenced.

The Ninja Turtles and April O'Neil travel across several parts of Asia in an east-west direction from Japan to Saudi Arabia in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comics.
