[Opening sequence and theme song.]
[The Turtles and Splinter drive towards Florence, Italy in the Turtle Van.]
Splinter "Ah. The River Arno. Italy is so picturesque. Don't you agree?"
Donatello "It certainly is, Master Splinter. Hey, isn't April meeting us here in Florence?"
Splinter "Tonight, Donatello, after she finishes her report on The Last Supper."
Michelangelo "Well, if it was my last supper, you can bet I'd order pizza."
Leonardo "Shh. Here's April now."
[They watch April’s report on the TV in the van.]
April O'Neil "This is April O'Neil with a live report from the artists of the Italian Renaissance. To this very monastery came the genius, Leonardo da Vinci to paint his masterpiece, The Last Supper. It's badly faded, but still one of the world's most beloved art treasures."
[Somewhere on a ship in space, a pair of aliens watch the report.]
Yikum "Oh, Dob, look. I want it for the art galaxy."
Dob "Good thing we detoured through the sharer system, Yikum, these Earthlings look like pushovers."
Yikum "Oh, let's take the space-walk beamer down and see."
[They activate the device.]
April "Professor Marco, how much restoring do you think The Last Supper needs?"
[Neither notices the purplish beam surrounding the painting.]
Marco "As you in America would say, oodles and oodles of it."
[There is a humming sound and then the wall the painting is on slowly vanishes. A startled Vernon jumps back and falls to the ground with the news camera.]
Vernon Fenwick "Oh, I don't believe it."
Marco "Oh, no. The Last Supper is gone."
April "Ladies and gentlemen, this is unbelievable. Not only does The Last Supper have to be restored, it first has to be recovered."
Leonardo "Turtles, it looks like we've got our work cut out for us."
Donatello "That's for sure. Whoever stole that wall just sliced it away like a pizza wedge."
Michelangelo "Hey, why all the fuss? It's just a bunch of paint some dude slapped on a wall."
Splinter "It is much more than that, Michelangelo. Tonight, I will show you what I mean."
[On foot, the Turtles follow Splinter towards the Museum. However, he suddenly stops and shoves the Turtles back around a corner.]
Splinter "Shh. April has arrived for her next broadcast."
[The group sneaks around to one side and try to get by quietly. Suddenly, shutters snap and lights flash. A tourist runs towards them snapping pictures.]
Male Tourist "Hey, look, the movie stars. Smile and say, mozzarella."
Female Tourist "What kind of picture you make? A space movie?"
Raphael "Oh, no, time to make turtle tracks."
[They start running and the tourists chase after them.]
Donatello "They think we're movie stars."
Michelangelo "Oh, get real, dude, who'd pay to see a movie about mutant turtles?"
[They run through a long archway and then Splinter swings up to a metal beam. Donatello uses his bō to pole vault up next to him.]
Donatello "Hi-ya."
[Michelangelo throws a grappling hook and climbs up to them. Raphael tosses Leonardo up and then two of the Turtles pull Raphael up. They wait up there until the tourists run past and then jump down again. In an alleyway, April opens a door and calls to them.]
April "In here, quick.
Turtles, am I glad to see you."
[They duck inside and she closes the door.]
Turtles, am I glad to see you."
Leonardo "Same here, April."
Raphael "We heard about The Last Supper being ripped off and we want to help you find it."
April "Well, that's sweet of you, boys, but I wouldn't know where to start looking."
Michelangelo "Well, maybe there's a lost and found for walls."
All "Aw! Ah, come on. Yeah, right."
Michelangelo "Hey, it was only a suggestion."
[A pair of security guards walk through the museum with flashlights.]
Tall Guard "Ah, this museum gives me the creeps at night."
Short Guard "Oh, come on, but we still have to check on the Statue of St. George."
Tall Guard "That sure doesn't look like St. George to me."
[The two Lookron aliens are floating in front of them.]
Short Guard "It looks more like his dragon."
Yikum "Ew, Earthlings, what a bother."
Short Guard "Get the lead."
[Both guards pull out guns and begin firing. The bullets bounce off the Lookrons.]
Tall Guard "Nothing hurts them. They must be wearing bullet-proof underwear."
Yikum "What's underwear?"
[A pinkish light surrounds the outer door and then it bursts open as the two guards fly out of the museum and into the street.]
Tall Guard "Arrivederci!"
[Both guards run away. The Turtles and Splinter tour another area of the museum.]
Michelangelo "Man, and I thought I was laid back. Didn't this dude ever finish anything?"
Splinter "Quite a number of things, Michelangelo, including this one."
Michelangelo "Whoa. Who's the humongous man of marble?"
Splinter "That is David. It was carved by your namesake, Michelangelo."
Michelangelo "Dude, I knew there was a reason I dug it."
[Suddenly, a glow surrounds the statue of David.]
Raphael "Hey, what's that weird glow?"
[The Lootrons materialize.]
Dob "It's our way of saying "hi." What, do you have a problem with that?"
Leonardo "Who are you?"
Yikum "Oh, well, I'm Yikum and he's Dob. We're from the planet Lookra."
Michelangelo "Oh, I've seen some weird tourist outfits, but you dudes take the cake."
Dob "Wrong, you unpleasant peasants, we take the artwork."
[He activates the device that lights up the statue.]
Raphael "Oh, no, you don't.
Oh. Looks like I don't either."
[Raphael charges at Dob, sais drawn, but bounces off of a force field.]
Oh. Looks like I don't either."
Leonardo "Turtles, fight with honor!"
[He attempts to cut through the force field, with no luck. Donatello and Michelangelo move towards Yikum.]
Donatello "Back off, this one's mine."
Michelangelo "I saw her first, dude."
Yikum "Ha-ha. Well, this should make an amusing story."
[With a flip of her tentacle, she knocks them both down.]
Donatello "Okay, Michelangelo, she's all yours."
Michelangelo "Forget it, dude, I'd never strike a female."
Splinter "Stand back, my students, and observe. Yi, Sacagawea!"
[He leaps feet first at Dob, who catches him and tosses him aside. Then Yikum uses their space-walk beamer to shrink while holding the statue of David.]
Leonardo "They're shrinking."
[The Turtles start towards them, but Yikum uses the device to levitate them. They continue flying upwards, breaking through the building skylight and then going higher and higher above the city. Then they suddenly start falling.]
Michelangelo "I hate to say it, dudes, but us ninjas are about to get injured."
Donatello "Not necessarily, Michelangelo. I was working on something just the other day."
[He pulls a large rocket pack from his belt.]
Leonardo "A rocket pack?"
Donatello "Yeah. It can keep one Turtle flying for hours."
Raphael "I hate to bring this up, but there are four of us."
Donatello "Well, at least it'll slow us down a little."
Raphael "Oh, great, instead of a splat, we'll make a "splut.""
Donatello "We haven't got much choice.
Everybody, grab hold.
Here goes."
[He holds the pack’s harness and stands on top of the pack.]
Everybody, grab hold.
[Once the others have joined him on the pack, he turns it on.]
Here goes."
[The rocket pack slows their descent and they land on the domed roof of a building.]
Leonardo "Hey, we're safe."
Raphael "Really? Tell me about it."
[They all shout as they begin sliding off the roof.]
Leonardo "Don't panic, guys, just grab for the edge as we go over."
Michelangelo "Oh, great, what good’ll that do?"
Leonardo "Well, one side of this dome has a walkway, and I'm hoping it's this one."
[The walkway is there and they each grab onto it, breaking their momentum and allowing them to drop safely to a terrace.]
Michelangelo "Ah, made it, dudes."
