Armaggon is a mutant shark from the future in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, who teams up with Shredder and Verminator-X, attacking the Turtleco attempting to steal the timeslip-generator from Donatello's laboratory. He first appeared in Mighty Mutanimals #7, as a prelude to his story arc in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, Future Shark Trilogy.
Armaggon battled Man Ray and Merdude during his inaugural issue. He stated that he'd faced Man Ray before, although the hero had never met the shark mutant - as Armaggon was referring to his own past, which would be Man Ray's future - thoroughly confusing the latter.

- Armaggon's name comes from a misspelled word balloon in an Eastman/Talbot project. Murphy liked the corruption of "Armageddon" and applied it to the shark character he and Laird were developing.
