Arkham, Massachusetts is a fictional town developed by H. P. Lovecraft for his mythos. While not as famous as his other fictional Massachusetts town, Innsmouth, it is still highly influential and was the basis for the name of Arkham Asylum in DC Comics.
In Eastman and Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #29, Men of Shadow, a majority of the story prior to the climax in Innsmouth takes place in Arkham (with a short portion at University of Massachusetts' Whatley House, which is noted to have been moved to its current location from Arkham). Maximillian Jones, Pervis Walker, and Barry are all residents of Arkham, and a field in Arkham is where Max and Pervis see Clark Ashton Allard crash into a field before them. Shortly thereafter, Master Traquer and his vampire minions kidnap Clark and Max and take them to Innsmouth.
