In the 1987 TV series, the Technodrome lands in the Arctic during the season 5 opening episode, "My Brother, the Bad Guy" when Shredder and Krang attempt to move the Technodrome from the Volcanic Asteroid to Earth.
The Technodrome then remains trapped in the Arctic polar icecap during most of season 5, until it falls through the ice and towards the bottom of the Arctic Ocean in "Rock Around the Block" during early season 6.
