April O'Neil is the Ninja Turtles' best human friend and ally, and the pupil of their Master Splinter.
History[]
Chasing Shadows[]
April makes her debut in Chasing Shadows. She is visiting the lair and working on her laptop when Donatello races in with the news that he may have found a way to track down her father. April accompanies the Turtles to a Kraang warehouse and while Raphael and Leonardo fight off the Kraangdroids, she and Don search for clues. Michelangelo is supposed to be helping them, but he engages the Kraang and gets knocked out. When he comes to, April bandages the paper cut he got from a bunch of nearby papers. Mikey thinks April is a wizard for applying first aid. The group proceeds on to an old T.C.R.I. facility, where April finds a transmitter similar to those made by her dad. Because the transmitters come in pairs, they track down its twin across town, but are too late. Later, back at the lair, April tells the guys she knows she's not alone as long as she's with them.
The Need for Speed![]
In The Need for Speed!, Donatello receives a message from April and in it, she says that she loves him. A lovestruck Don immediately goes overboard and orders flowers be sent to her. Just after that he receives another message from April, where she explains that her first one was cut off and she was actually saying "I Love You Like a Blister" was her favorite song by the Squashed Wombats.
Danger, Danger![]
During training in the dojo, April becomes discouraged and says she'll never be ready for battle. Don thinks he has the solution and presents her with his newest invention "threat detection goggles". As it turns out, they don't work quite the way they were designed to.
April's Fools[]
April is out on patrol with the Turtles and Casey Jones. Don and Casey are both being more than a little attentive, much to April's annoyance. When they encounter the Kraang, the overprotectiveness of the two males causes more harm than good, until circumstances finally teach them that April can take care of herself.
Game Over![]
April has graduated as a kunoichi and is sparring in the dojo against the Turtles. They are making a poor showing and April becomes frustrated, accusing them of going easy on her. Splinter tends to agree with her and wants to know why his sons are so tired. When he learns they've become obsessed with a video game, he tells them to delete it from their T-Phones immediately. They do not, being completely unable to stop playing, and are hypnotized as part of a plot by Don Vizioso. It is up to April to break the spell and save not only the Turtles, but all of the mutants in New York City.
