April reports on the break-in at Mason Technologies, which involved Tommy Oliver as an undercover member of the Foot Clan being tasked to steal some equipment, leading to a clash between the Ninja Turtles and Tommy, and then Tommy's friends the Power Rangers. April deliberately leaves her friends' involvement with the incident out of her report, citing lack of evidence.
After the Turtles and Rangers realize they're on the same side, Pink Ranger Kimberly Hart uses a computer in April's office at Channel 6 to search for Tommy, under the guise of being April's intern. When the Rangers' connection to the Morphin Grid is disrupted, Kimberly chooses April to become the new Pink Ranger.

- Pink Ranger Suit and Power Morpher - Borrowed from Kimberly, April used the Power Morpher to become the Pink Ranger. This device, once activated to morph into the Pink Ranger, enhances her agility and strength, expands her fighting capabilities and enhances her resistance to damage by channeling energy from the Morphin Grid.
Weapons[]
- Power Bow - An archery bow that fires unlimited energy or wooden arrows. The bow can combine with the weapons of the other Rangers to form the Power Cannon.

- As a way to tell April's Pink Ranger form apart from Kimberly's, the artists removed the Pink Ranger's skirt from April's Ranger costume.
