As April is enjoying a hot beverage in her apartment at two a.m. one morning, her doorbell rings. She rises from her desk to answer the door, and the man standing there says he's selling encyclopedias. April slams the door on him, yelling that she doesn't want any encyclopedias. The man, who is a thug in the employ of the Boss, one of the city’s most dangerous kingpins of crime, kicks in the apartment door. April breaks a vase over his head, but as she's fleeing the apartment, another thug is waiting and kidnaps her. The Boss
April returns to her apartment after days of being away and finds the floor littered with bills that have been pushed through the mail slot. One of the envelopes does not contain a bill though, it is an invitation for her and the Hero Turtles to attend the opening of the new Haunted Mansion Theme Park. Haunted Turtles
