The Ancient One was the ninjutsu master of Hamato Yoshi. As the last leg of his journey to complete the Fivefold Path, Leonardo went to Japan to train with The Ancient One at the Ninja Tribunal's home under Mount Fuji. The Ancient One soundly trounced Leonardo, using his own katana taken from him in battle, hurling insults at him all the while. The Tribunal and Ancient One turn away from Leonardo, telling him he cannot complete the Fivefold Path by turning his back on his family.
