It is the fourth and final crossover involving Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa. The previous crossover is "The Crystal at the Heart of the World".

- The Utromi Preservi and the NYPD Xenosquad were first introduced in Tales of the TMNT (Vol. 2) #6, in the backup story The Raisin'.
- This issue features cameo appearances by many characters from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comics.
- On the left corner of the page the 1984 Mirage comic book Turtles make a cameo.
