Albearto's is a recurring location in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Description[]
Albearto's is a theme restaurant chain located in New York City. Its namesake is derived from its mascot, Albearto, a bear chef. Its arcade features a dance machine, Smack-a-Vole, a crane machine filled exclusively with Cheery Tomato prizes, an air hockey table, five Skee-Ball machines, two basketball arcade games, a music-playing machine, a kiddie ride that says "Hi THERE!", and a Cheery Tomato ball pit. It also has a small indoor playground and a kitchen.
Behind the arcade is a seating area made of benches and tables and to the left are a pair of restrooms while on the right is a manager office. There is the Hall of Fame made of four large glass display cases featuring Albeartos from other Albearto restaurants such as Bayou 'Bearto, Al-Beardo the Pirate, Chef Albéar, and Otto von Bearto. The Hall of Fame requires a palm scan to unlock it. The office interior has an analog clock above the window and a desk and chair. Against the back wall, there is a stage in the shape of Albearto's head for Albearto and his band to perform on and directly to the left of it is a door that leads backstage which has an exit door. Albearto's ceiling is decorated with string pennants.
History[]
Albearto's debuted in "War and Pizza". April O'Neil was employed as a Party Captain at an Albearto's, and due to a malfunction in Donatello's programming when attempting to fix it, the chain's eponymous animatronic mascot, Albearto, ran amok, requiring the Mad Dogs to stop him. Although she managed to dispatch Albearto and satisfy patron Timmy, due to the location's complete destruction, April was fired from her position afterward.
In "Al Be Back", Baxter Stockboy dropped off Albearto's rebuilt head at a seemingly rebuilt Albearto's, which facilitated his plan of overtaking the body of the new Albearto animatronic.
In "Many Unhappy Returns", Albearto's interior was damaged by the Shredder as he mindlessly attacked its animatronics and arcade games before vanishing suddenly.
Trivia[]
- Albearto's seems to be a parody of Chuck E. Cheese and the now-defunct Showbiz Pizza Place.
- Perhaps coincidentally, the restaurant's logo bears a resemblance to that of Showbiz Pizza Place.
