Aka's feather is an item given to April O'Neil by the immortal Aka, as a counteractive measure against Kitsune's powers. When used with a specific prayer or spell, the feather shone brightly and temporarily nullified Kitsune's ability to control the minds of others.
While seen as an item of magic, April, ever the empirical scientist, decides to view its power as a science that has not yet been understood.
