Dr. Aida Hosny is the head of Egyptology at the New York Museum of Science and History and a former teacher of Mona Lisa.
History[]
Some months prior to the present, an artifact was found in a hidden tomb in Egypt. The local government ended up gifting the artifact to the New York Museum of Science and History. April covers a news piece at the museum regarding their reluctance to show the artifact off to the public, and interviews Dr. Hosny. Dr. Hosny says that they just need to accurately reconstruct the artifact before unveiling it, and dismisses rumors that it's cursed.
That night, Mona Lisa sneaks into the museum and startles Dr. Hosny as she's hanging up the phone. She reminds Dr. Hosny of who she was before her mutation and asks if she can help. Hosny tells her that every night the artifact is disassembled again, even after it is painstakingly put back together the following day each time. She tells Mona Lisa that there is not enough budget to cover security guards or cameras in all of the museum, so Mona Lisa offers to stake out the Egyptian wing for her. The Box of Ptah
Ptah ended up freed from the device when Bakari, a "mummy" in their museum, failed to dismantle the device again while he was distracted by Mona Lisa and Raphael. Ptah was defeated by the Turtles, Bakari, and Mona, and the artifact was destroyed. To make up for the artifact's destruction, Bakari offered to work at the museum, entertaining patrons and telling tales of his life in ancient Egypt. That's a Wrap for Ptah
