Some TMNT stuff really isn't for little kids.

In the IDW continuity, After the Bomb is a musical band of mutants who performs in Mutant Town.

After the Bomb first appeared in full in TMNT #105, where they were performing at Kennel Klub, a heavy metal club in Mutant Town. The Splinter Clan-to-be attended this concert, and Jennika struck up a close relationship with the lead singer, Sheena. Sheena and the bass guitarist Amy also joined martial arts classes at the Splinter Dōjō.

Trivia[]

Afterthebomb names
  • The name of this band is a reference to the After the Bomb supplement for the role-playing game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness (later converted into its own independent game), which was originally released in 1986.
  • As of TMNT #110, only Sheena's name has been mentioned in print in the book. Amy's name was revealed by Sophie Campbell on her Deviantart account, and the rest of the band members were given names by viewers of an art livestream Sophie hosted, upon her prompt for suggestions.[1]
  • Both Sophie Campbell and Brahm Revel coincidentally created a mutant rabbit drummer at the same time, both of who played at the Kennel Klub, although initially Sophie's idea for a music club was called The Abattoir, and when they realized they were both writing about the same sort of venue, Sophie just made it the Kennel Klub in the ongoing series as well. However, the then-unnamed Wenceslaus and Revel's Vincent sport different designs and play for different bands.
