Adler is a character in the 1987 TV series, appearing in the episode "Turtlemaniac". He is a bodyguard and flunky employed by Monroe Q. Flem.
When April is caught entering the grounds of Flem's estate, he asks her to help him complete his Ninja Turtle collection. She immediately turns him down, so Flem orders Adler to lock her up until she becomes more cooperative. April screams and struggles, but he takes her to a cell, calling her feisty for fighting him. In response, April pulls out of his grip and stomps on his foot. Adler reacts in pain and April runs through Flem's museum trying to find an exit. Upon nearly running into a wax figure of Shredder, April stops quickly, which gives Adler time to catch her again. Adler then shoves her into a cage.
After Flem freezes the Turtles, Adler helps him place them in a lair diorama, arranging them in poses. It is Irma to the rescue, as she soon finds them and turns up the heat to free the Turtles. They begin battling Flem, his robots, and his henchmen. Adler and Clyde both leap at Donatello, who pole vaults aside, causing the pair to land in wax.
