After Shredder and Krang arrive to Eternia, they strike up a partnership with the evil Skeletor. They begin supplying Skeletor with mutagen, to which he proceeds to transform both his underlings and enemies with it. They manage to capture He-Man, and mutate him into an even more powerful blue-skinned monstrosity. By The Power of PIZZA!
Beast Man convinced Man-At-Arms that he had flipped sides against Skeletor to avoid being mutated, himself, and sent Teela, accompanied by Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael, to infiltrate Skeletor's hideout. This proved to be a trap, and the newly mutated He-Man descended upon Teela and the Turtles in a bestial rage.
