Ace Chemicals is a location in the Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated crossover. It is a chemical manufacturing company headquartered in the heart of Gotham City's industrial district. Ace Chemicals is where the Joker was created when he fell into a vat of chemicals.
History[]
As Batman recovers in the Batcave from his mutation, the two teams figure out that the villains are launching their cloud-seeding mutation machine at the Ace Chemicals plant. Leonardo points out that the facility is walled off and easy to defend. Despite this, they take the Batmobile and Turtle Van and drive straight at the building. The League of Assassins rain exploding arrows down on them, which the two vehicles manage to avoid. Leo drives the van right through the gate and the two vehicles again come under assault by the Foot Clan, the League, and a variety of newly minted mutants. The heroes soon confront Shredder and Ra's al Ghul in the plant. Leonardo defeats Ra's al Ghul, Batman and Raphael take down Shredder, and Donatello and Michelangelo destroy the machine before it activates. The debris from the ensuing explosion knocks Shredder into a vat of chemicals and blows up the entire plant.
