Summary[]

At the Canale 6 building, April O'Neil meets with her boss, Barney Thompson and a man named Malloy. Thompson tells the man that for months he’s been asking April for more information on the mysterious Turtles. He expresses excitement at a proposal made by Malloy. The man says that he can offer the participation of the Turtles for an in-studio interview. Thompson asks if he can guarantee them an exclusive. Malloy says that he can because he is the one and only agent of the Ninja Turtles. He then says that Thompson should pay him a small deposit.

Thompson agrees and tells him just to state the amount. April, having grown concerned, tries to get her boss to wait, but he tells her to shut up and learn. Malloy asks for twenty thousand dollars and though Thompson looks aggrieved, he thinks that an exclusive has an incalculable value. No one has noticed that stuck to the underside of Thompson desk is a bug – a small listening device. On the receiving end of the bug is Shredder in the Tecnodromo. He can’t believe his luck at overhearing the conversation and Malloy saying that he’ll see Thompson tonight. An excited Shredder says that all he wanted from the bug was to keep an eye on April O’Neil. Bebop wants to know what’s so special about that Malloy guy. Shredder asks who he thinks can lead them to the Turtles if not an agent of their own?

Meanwhile, back at Channel 6, April has placed a call to the Turtles. She tells Leonardo that the cheater cheated her boss out of twenty thousand dollars. Leonardo says that she could have told him they don’t have an agent, but April says if she’d done that, she would have to explain how well she knows them. Leonardo agrees that she’s right and tells April not to worry because they’ll take care of Malloy. The other Turtles also express a readiness to deal with Malloy.

A short while later, the Turtles climb to the surface and are in time to see Malloy coming out. Suddenly a car zooms up in front of the man and comes to a screeching stop. The occupants asks if he is Malloy and when he answers yes, Bebop and Rocksteady leap out and grab him. Rocksteady tells him that their boss has a few questions. Malloy shouts for help and as the car speeds away, Leonardo tells the other Turtles to be alert. Malloy might be a scammer, but he’s theirs and they have to take him back.

Bebop tells Rocksteady that the Turtles are on their tails. Glancing in the rearview mirror at Malloy, Rocksteady acknowledges that he really is their manager. Bebop pops open a panel on the dashboard and activates the onboard weaponry. The car trunk opens and a pair of anti-turtle missiles shoot out. Riding on his motorized skateboard, Michelangelo easily dodges one, joking that they are being welcomed with fireworks. Nearby, Raffaello grabs a half-circle pipe from a construction worker. He catches the second missile in the pipe and shoots it back at the car. It lands in the trunk and destroys the car.

Fleeing the burning vehicle, Bebop activates their emergency signal and Rocksteady tucks Malloy under his arm. Just as the Turtles are catching up to them, a helicopter appears overhead and a ladder lowers. As Rocksteady climbs, he taunts the Turtles, shouting that they didn’t expect this. Shredder yells at them to hurry and Bebop looks down at Malloy, at the bottom of the ladder, and tells him to hurry up. Raffaello calls out that some leave, but some stay here and throws a sai. It cuts through the ropes on the ladder and Malloy hits the ground. Donatello waves at the helicopter and shouts that it wasn’t a pleasure to see them again. Shredder growls at having experienced another failure.

The Turtles surround Malloy and tell him it’s his turn. Leonardo says that they won’t report him because he doubts the man will want to try his trickery again. The Turtle then lifts the check from Malloy’s pocket. As Malloy shouts about his check, Michelangelo takes it and tears it into little pieces, telling the man that the check has been cancelled. As the Turtles turn to leave, Malloy calls out for them to wait and that heroes of their caliber should have an agent. The Turtles begin running and Malloy chases after them, still trying to sell them on his services. Laughing, Michelangelo says that maybe it would have been better not to save him. Leonardo thinks that he would have been the ideal manager… for Shredder!
