(The Statue of Liberty, surrounded by barbed wire. Bane's image covers the face of Lady Liberty and his minions control Liberty Island. Bane sits upon a throne, looking down at the mass of humans who have gathered on the island.) Bane "Look at them. Flocking together. My army. Perhaps. It is fear that drives them to serve my greater purpose." Bane "Perhaps they are believers of my gospel-- awakened from their prison, desperate to destroy the confines of the shackles this world has placed on them." Bane "Nevertheless, they march for me..." Bane "...And our victory is imminent." Baxter Stockman "Ack!" Stockman "Pesssky turtles!" (He has spotted Donatello, flying towards the island in the Turtle Blimp.) Donatello "Not the most inconspicuous approach... but then again, I am flying right toward a six-hundred-pound luchador who gave the Status of Liberty his own face." Donatello "I know how venom feels-- a sneak attack would just have the same result." Donatello "A fight." Stockman "Massster..." Stockman "...The Turtles... Blimp... It's here, yess!" Bane "Yes, of course. Their arrival is unremarkable and anticipated-- as is their swift defeat." Bane "A task fitting for my Elite Guard." Donatello "All right... moving into position." Donatello "No surprise Bane's got his front line ready..."
