2090 is the year in which Teenage Mecha Ninja Turtles takes place. In this futuristic time period, humans co-exist with mutant animals and robots. Mutant criminals run amok and the police force consists of humans and mutants alike. Weapons are also more advanced and the bad guys have access to EMPs. A team of four heroes use robotic, armored mech suits to battle the forces of evil.
