Ok Karai is losing her mind. She needs to stop focusing on revenge and start living the happy life with her family that loves her and wants her back. Yeah I get the whole "forge my own path" but that shouldn't include throwing your life away for revenge!

A great episode overall, but I question Mikey's sudden interest in Shinigami. True he is a natural with the ladies, but he was a little quick to fall for her when she was threatening them.
Karai needs to realize that her family is there for her. I know she wants to create her own destiny, but that shouldn't include abandoning her loving family.

Funny thing about branching timelines in time travel fiction—the old characters don't just magically vanish. :) The recent Star Trek films are good example, having two versions of Spock living in the same timeline, which was created when Spock and Nero traveled back in time and their very presence created an alternate reality.
Note that Renet's Time Scepter operated under a very different principle—it didn't branch new timelines, but was instead an arbiter of fate, and people could only affect the past in ways that maintained the same timeline.
I see. Gosh time travel is confusing! No wonder Doctor Who always leaves me questioning! XD
We talked about it further up, how the show threw in a stable time loop to conveniently get rid of the Earth turtles, despite such an occurrence making no sense in a plot that was meant to completely branch a new timeline to save the Earth.
Hmmm I guess so... I was thinking the Earth turtles were just gonna disappear because the time stream was corrected, but I thought that them leaving to go on an "adventure" in space and confusing everyone especially Splinter was kinda funny.

I never noticed such things in this episode. What kinds of plot holes and bad writing are there?
I'm a very enthusiastic fangirl, I really only cared about the fact that Splinter is alive and everything is back to normal so far.
