Agree it's a bit much if it's mutating anything now. Although... the car itself, outside the fact that it's a mutant, is pretty cool. :) Wouldn't mind seeing a toy of that - as long as the hood "mouth" opens and has the teeth. lol
Well they only live one life, so they can't be both human and turtle years. They're human-like enough I think it's always been considered to be like "human years."
Which version are you talking about? The new movie? In that case I'm pretty sure she'd know, realistically it would be rather difficult to miss. Even if April's writing in that regard, and her lack of any reaction, did kind of suck and make her look oblivious. I wouldn't expect her to have any mutual feelings...
Venus as a villain could be cool. Maybe take the place of Slash as the bad 'guy' turtle if Slash is to end up allied with TMNT. I believe Slash has been an alien in one version, so hey maybe make Venus a turtle-like (snapping turtle?) alien character.
Would be cool if they went a bit more animalistic with her, similar to Leatherhead in that she doesn't have quite the level of humanity TMNT have, there's still that side that may flip out once in a while and be very animal-like. Would be interesting to go that direction with a female character.
Slash I assume may and look forward to his growing alliance with the Turtles. Newtralizer I'm not so sure about. He doesn't seem to have any care for Earth or it's inhabitants and I think the partnership between he and Slash may have broken off in the last episode Newtralizer was in. At most, maybe he will agree to temporarily team up with the Turtles and Slash against the Kraang, seeing as how the Kraang are the targets he was/is after.
Super Ultra Mega Shredder maybe, considering how 'super' the 2014 version already was itself.
Maybe, if they can find her and cure her. I could see Donnie wanting to do that for Splinter's sake. Although her ability to shape shift could be an asset - if she can be trusted.
Really hoping Nick does bring Mona Lisa back. Since her original appearance was so brief she's practically a blank slate, it would be a great opportunity for Nick to be able to take a character many already know and like a lot and yet have plenty of room to give her original story and character development of their own. Would love to see her as a gal pal for Raph.
I agree, I'd love to see a 2D version of the new guys included, if admittedly I'd like to see them there to give 2003 what-for and put them in their place for their attitude toward 1987, even if just for a moment.
Yeah, although the fact that she can shape shift might make her a particularly dangerous character right now. Serious chance to add to her skills of deception... Way too easy for her to get someone's trust in human form then snap into snake form and attack. Poor Leo will no doubt try his damnedest though.
Honestly I'm just as tired of this kind of talk, if someone made a thread saying they "don't like it, who agrees," people would fly into a butthurt rage. Does it even matter who likes it or not, and at this point it's all still speculation from either camp.
I'm betting the she prob will sooner or later. At least I'm hoping so, esp since I personally love the parts when people first meet them and seeing how they respond to meeting talking turtle-people. lol
Hah, I kinda like it, has a more Karai-like ring to it. :)
Yeah, agree. As much as I've read elsewhere some people getting tired of the amount of mutants, it would be nice for there to be at least one regular female mutant who will be around in episodes off and on - vs being in only one or two - and won't be purposely designed to still look like a female human.
Not that I have any issue with Karai having the ability to shape shift, having known her as human prior I prefer it. But various media otherwise tends to have an annoying way of trying to make female characters too human-like even if they aren't human at all.
I'd actually really love to see an adult female mutant show up. (But please not a stereotypical species.. please no cat woman or anything like that.) Would be different, really add to the mix, give the Turtles a potential mother figure if they occasionally have the need (as well as to April and Karai), driving home the sense on occasion that they really are still just kids, and give Splinter an adult mutant companion (not necessarily in a romantic sense.. lol) because having no adult friends for so long as got to wear on a person.
lol I hope not. Wouldn't put it past him to almost try, but Leo would prob very quickly bite his head off over disrespect for Splinter since it's his daughter.
Favorite mutant? None other than the noble, honorable, admirable Leo of course. Loved him as a kid, came back to the fandom last year after many years away and still found he's my fave.
If Tang Shen was alive and didn't die in a fire, what would it be like to have her present in the show
I mean like how would she feel abou not just being a mother of a daughter but also an adoptive mother to 4 turtles
I've wonderd too, had she and 'Splinter' ended up in NYC together instead. I'm curious if she'd have remined human or, if more likely for story purposes if she was present, if she'd have mutated and what would she be. To think not only would the Turtles have had a mom, but she might have ended turtle herself...
Love knows no bounds? Humans are all he'd ever known of girls? lol
Of course... not to cause anyone psychological damage by mentioning it but plenty enough fans have turtle crushes... so a show written by our species... at this point it should prob just be assumed we're gonna go there because humankind is weird like that. lol
